Before the Move

30-minute Virtual Consultation

We assess your space, understand your needs, and create a plan and schedule.

Planning Ahead

Finding a moving company can be the most stressful part of your move. Over the years, we have developed relationships with various moving companies. We know who you can trust with your belongings, and will take care of organizing the movers for your big day.

Decluttering

Decluttering before packing is an important step. It reduces the amount of packing supplies needed, and the number of boxes taking up space in the moving truck and your home. We will help you sort your items into keep, toss, or donate piles, and even take care of donating items, properly disposing of expired medications, and recycling electronics if needed.

Packing

We will order the packing supplies needed (boxes, tape, packing paper) and arrange to have them delivered to your home the day before we pack. Our team will expertly pack your items making sure your valuables and fragile items are protected for the move. Our proven labelling system will ensure unpacking at your new home is a breeze!

During the Move

On the day of the move, our team will be on-site to oversee and supervise the move, ensuring your belongings are well taken care of and that every last detail is covered.

If you’re moving within the Vancouver or Victoria area, we will arrive at your new home to help coordinate where the boxes and furniture should be placed, reducing the time and effort needed for unpacking.

After the Move

Unpacking & Organizing

Once the movers have finished, we waste no time unpacking and organizing your new home. Life doesn’t stop when you move, and you may need to work or take children to school and activities, so we prioritize working on the most vital areas of your home first – the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living room – ensuring your move causes the least amount of disruption in your daily life.

Assembling Furniture and Installing Storage Solutions

Our handyman can be on-site the day of your move to disassemble and reassemble any large furniture or install pre-purchased storage solutions such as closet organizers, shelving units, or overhead storage. Our move management services could include other tasks, such as TV mounting and picture hanging.

Removing the Packing Supplies

As part of our move management services, we will also remove and recycle any supplies used for the move (boxes, packing paper etc.) so you don’t have to!
